Ad Schaerlaeckens in 2002:

April 13th: St Ghislain 548 p - 1st (98-5812165)
April 20th Peronne 632 p - 1st (98-5812165)
May 4th Peronne 612 p - 1st (01-1994125, brother 98-5812191 !!!)

In 2002 Ad Schaerlackens again became 1st Champion Short Distance in 2002 despite the fact that in one race only one bird was entered he ended way ahead of the rest.

At the Olympiad in France again 2 birds of Schaerlaeckens origin represented Holland.
June:
The Schaerlaeckensbirds are again winning for others:
- Mr W de Bruyn won in the first 20 S-National with a Half Schaerlaeckens.
- Gerard van Zelderen won 2nd S-National Orleans 15.000 birds.
- Falco and Wil Ebben won 2nd S-National La Ferte Bernard June 1st in very hard weather against 14.996 birds. The same bird won the week before 1st 877 pigeons at igh speed.
- Mr Hamers from Wessem won 5th S-National Chateauroux 4.588 birds.
- Jos v d Broek from Bavel won 1st against 8,500 birds with a pure Schaerlaeckens, a gr.son of 98-5812162.
- C Leytens won in the first 10 S-National NPO race.
- Mr Schapink has a super, Mr Rokx won 1st Montlucon and so on and so on.
